German Speaking Product Management Specialist – Senior


 

Role purpose:

This role is accountable for developing, launching and life cycle management of products and solutions for the Global and Market Enterprise Product Management Teams and to manage deliverables related to the New Project Development process. The role ensures that the right portfolio of products for a vertical or a horizontal capability is developed, available for our customers and continuously improved. The Senior Product Management Specialist works for the German Market with the UCC (Unified Communications and Connectivity) product portfolio and will be responsible for Products within the One Net Product Family.

 

What you will do:

Product Development
● Manage deliverables to take a new product development from concept to in-life operation in all markets defined in the business case
● Drive and manage new developments through the product development process (NPD or its local equivalent)
● Develop the approach and plan to deliver the project to market, meeting agreed time, cost and quality standards
● P&L responsibility for the managed product
● Create service model and customer experience blueprint
Portfolio Management
● Develop, launch and maintain a portfolio of Business products to ensure revenue growth in the Enterprise segment
● Create and maintain a best in class roadmap for the products within the role’s portfolio
● Drive market share, revenue and profit targets; in-life performance and retirement
Project Management
● Manage and ensure the business case, product requirements and project scope are clearly defined and taken through governance processes for approval
● Create and manage business case
● Stakeholder Management
● Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure engagement and support at all levels of the business
● Drive resolution of risks and issues, proactively intervene to remove roadblocks
● Build strong collaborative relationships with Group Enterprise Technology, Lines of Businesses and Supporting Functions to ensure products are fit for purpose
Reporting
● Establishing a regular reporting framework that can be used to report progress of products across a number of metrics

 

This job is for you if you have:

● 3-5 years of experience in Project/ Product Management
● Experience with working within the budgets for product development and marketing set out in our annual budgeting cycle
● Ability to build and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders
● Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and German is a must
● Good Computer skills (MS Office, Visio, MS Project)
● Knowledge of Cisco products is an advantage
● Ability to work remotely from the core team in large globally dispersed virtual teams
● Understanding UCC/Telecommunications market, competition and customer requirements is an advantage
● Good analytical and problem solving skills
● Outstanding time management and prioritizing skills
● Proactivity; enthusiasm
